i thought you were the one i could at least sometimes count on, but it seems that time and time again, commitments have pulled us apart. it could be that our priorities are vastly different. we used to be on the same frequency... i will still say that we are on the same frequency, but looking at this sentence from a different perspective: our crests and troughs will never meet, nor will any part of our sinusoidal waves.

i knew never to expect too much. but it's just one time too many. i am disappointed.
