when jason lezak touched the pad and stopped the time, and the americans were celebrating on the deck and in the stands, i was crying. yes. crying. like boohoo crying. haha! i got too emotional i guess. how stupid of me to be so happy for someone who doesn't even know i exist. -__-"

then when MP received his medal during the victory ceremony, i boohoo-ed again. ahaha. can you imagine how i would react if i was right there at the water cube? especially with you, trix. hahaha. i had no idea i could be this emotional! man!

i'm just over the moon that i was able to witness such a defining moment for MP. everyone says he's from another galaxy... i just hope that when i'm on my way to the moon, i can get to see him in his galaxy. hahaha.

anyway, his win eclipsed everything else. i had left my tea in the kitchen and totally forgot about it till an hour after the culmination of swimming events at the 2008 Games. HAHAHA. i was so drained after the race (too much eye power used lah), i was pretty much stoning while chatting with trix on msn. she can bear witness. haha!

ok i don't need to say much about the achievements this other-worldly man has done. it's all over the media. but after 17 races, 3400m, 7 world records+1 olympic record and 8 gold medals, Michael Phelps has been immortalised in the pages of the books of Olympic history.

mmm. i have no idea what i'm going to do. my daily dose of MP at 9.55am for the whole week has come to an abrupt end. have to remove those post-its liao. think the tv will look awfully naked without them. haha.


i know this whole post will be ruined by a single mention of this name, but jade seah really sucks at reading. i couldn't understand what she was trying to say about MP. stumbling all over the words. her enunciation... is just... 'wow'. should try loosening her jaw i think. it helps.

urgh. sg media is projecting such blatant one-sidedness in their reports.
