ok, so it has been a pretty tiring later half of the week, with friday being the craziest. i'm dead beat after a few consecutive days of being up on my feet all day. too used to the couch potato life already lah. DIE. becoming obese. ok exaggerating!
settled some job stuff ytd morn, due to start on mon. haiz. as much as i hate working, i still have to get a job during the hols bcos when you are this old, it is what people expect of you. so just to shut them all up, here i am. totally wrong mindset, but what the heck. technically, i'm still a teenager, so i'm allowed to be ignorant. HA.
anyway Tenderlink gathering was great as usual. grocery shopping with the gang at ntuc was real fun, then headed to jy's place for steamboat. celebrated yu tai's birthday in advance too, albeit with a really weird cake. but the boys, as always, make for great entertainment. the banter that goes back and forth across the table can be so hilarious.
quite a significant gathering, i guess. cos after like a decade of treating us to snacks and dinners and what-have-yous, it was finally our turn to treat cher. ha! nowhere as extravagant as the Marche dinners worth hundreds of bucks (thanks to our huge appetites with a taste for expensive crayfish) of cos, but we hope that you enjoyed the meal? at least we make great company ok. haha!
ok so this was what we got for yu tai: sara lee cake, plus 4 scoops of ice cream and bunch of grapes. haha! really weird and random eh? and he knew that we were gonna celebrate his bdae, but he gave a dramatic surprised look all the same. it was all so funny!
