went back SR on wed with james, ah mah and kay heng. but mr tan wasn't there!!! ARGH. we chose the wrong day to go back. 2S20 and mr tan are really not meant to be. i still can't believe that we don't have a full class photo even after 2 years of classes together. there's ALWAYS someone missing. urgh. how annoying.

anyways. the SR uniform has been changed! found out last week when i saw a few students at Plaza Sing. no longer the fugly cut brown skirt and ah pek pants. the bottoms are the same colour as the top now. my first impression was: wow, nice! but being back at the school and seeing so many of them wearing the new uniform, i wasn't so sure. haha. yes, it looks a tad like the uniform of a better-performing JC, but it made me feel really out of place there. besides the fact that i'm much older than any of them there of cos.

PE shirt now functions as house shirt also. the new one still looks the same as the 2006 version. yea the Hogwarts version. haha. with a few changes here and there... now round neck instead of v-neck. and house colours added in the form of 2 stripes running down the back and in the neck lining. hmm. i still like our old house shirts better. hahaha. and everyone has got this blue polo with the SR crest. think it's for "dress down day"? haha. enlighten me, people.

General Office undergoing facelift, door totally gone, so we were momentarily lost when we were trying to look for mr tan in his office. haha. exterior of lecture halls has a whole new look, with a more vintage feel i guess. and the cafe outside LT5!! they have such nice furniture now!! wah piang. we had lousy clangy metal furniture last time lah. tiny round tables you can't even use to study. they have huge rectangular tables with high backed chairs! Grrr. they've added a lot more benches all over the school too, which is really good i think. Library looks cool, though we didn't go in (don't think we are allowed in anyway. the librarian used to bark at us if we were not wearing the full school uniform. scary.) and there's this new cafe outside the library, called Good News. haha! really weird. didn't get the chance to go back to the classroom though. A3-3! haha. nvrmd. next time. =)

left the college and walked to kovan, just like we used to. had lunch at pizza hut, just like we used to. everything felt familiar, yet somehow different. it sucks to have that feeling. =(

then trained to Clarke Quay, went to MindCafe to play some games. i suck at Settlers of Catan. hahaha. but it was really fun! must do it again sometime soon ok! while i'm still jobless. haha! but a word of caution though. they have free flow of drinks during Happy Hour, but don't ever drink the Iced Lemon Tea there. it's crazy sweet. i got drunk, again. on sugar. ack.

dinner at Fishermens' Wharf, then dessert at Gelare. took a lot of bo liao photos, mostly by james. lesson learnt: keep all cameras out of sight when james is around. haha!
