Today was a super suay day. ok lah, not to the extent that wherever i go i will meet something bad, but suay enough.
when i boarded the bus today and settled myself into a seat on the upper deck on the bus, i was smiling to myself, thinking that i was gonna be real early for class. but no, i was stuck in a massive traffic jam at Lornie Road. really weird, cos it was near noon and not the early morning rush hour.
i dont think anyone knew what was going on; there werent any signs of an accident or construction work on the road. but still, we were stuck in the jam for a little less then 45 minutes.
then just when the traffic started to clear, the bus broke down. the air-conditioning went off first, and i thought: ehhh... this is not good. Next thing i knew, the engine died! phwoar... NICE LAH.
in the end, i was half an hour late for class with a friend and couple of others. there were seats at the front row, so we walked all the way down. just so you know, the entrances/exits to the lecture theatres are at the back. being typical singaporen students, front row seats are usually the last to be filled. maybe i was feeling too self conscious, but i thought i could feel all eyes on me when i walked right down the middle aisle from the back to the very first row. eeks. how embarassing!
just an afterthought:
if i were driving my own car and got caught in a jam like that, i would have gone bonkers and screamed my head off(within the confines of my car, of cos). then when i cant take it anymore, i'd floor the accelerator, crash through the line of crawling cars in front of me, and die in the process.
MUHAHAHAHA.
