alright, just came back from the class chalet today. didnt sleep much on both nights, but as compared to those who didnt sleep at all, i guess it's not so bad. haha.



There was only one bedroom, and in the first night, 6 of us squeezed onto 2 single beds and 'slept' for 3 hours. Woke up at 6am, suffered gastric till everyone woke up so we could go for breakfast at Mac's. Since the vaynes stayed up all night, they went to sleep after we left. Went to play pool in the afternn and after that went to the park with yan. that was when james and kel got locked up in the chalet with no electricity. the funniest thing was james didnt even realise the aircon was switched off. How do you breathe in there eh? lol. Anyhoo, saw planes and i thought of the airport. And when i think of the airport, i think of... POPEYES!! and so we went there for dinner. muhahaha.



when we came back vaynes had left for night cycling+drinking. there were fewer people staying over so yan, james and me had the bed all to ourselves(mel slept on the mattress). i was so lucky to sleep in the 'lobang' and had backache ALL NIGHT. yan was sleeping so soundly i didnt dare shift around so much, and james was snoring away. couldnt sleep man. mel also couldnt sleep properly, waking up every now and then. oh that reminds me. did u spasm again? lol.



Vaynes came back around 3plus in the morning and came up to the bedroom about an hour later. since i couldnt sleep anymore, i let ernie have my space on the bed. went outside and stoned for more than an hour. Giam, ser and jess left around 6am. packed my stuff then slept on the floor for a little while. then finally james and yan woke up and i could finally have breakfast. Collected our stuff and left the chalet. went to tampines after having a BK breakfast with the intention of watching movie but there werent any nice ones. The initial plan was to hang around till lunchtime, but there really wasnt anything to do. plus, 3 of us james, mel and me were pretty brain dead already. so went home lor.




coincidentally, S21 was also having chalet just a couple of blocks away. went over to visit huili and wah, they had steamboat! so much healthier than our bbq eh. lol.



i hadnt expected the chalet to be so tiny, but overall the stay was quite ok. it was near downtown east, so there was more stuff to do unlike last year's. and it was a nice break from home. many thanks to the organisers of the chalet, yong siang, giam, jess. it would not have been possible without you guys. =)
