whoa. being an usher at the pre-u seminar is so tiring! i'm the usher for the guest-of-honour(minister of state Mr Gan Kim Yong) during the opening ceremony, and everyone was making a huge fuss out of it. so naturally, all the teachers know my name by now. during rehearsals they were like, "valencia, you're supposed to be there!" or "valencia, be alert!" valencia this valencia that. i famous liao loh! haha. oh and on monday, i was halfway through my lunch when a teacher came running into the canteen and asked dennis and me to go back for rehearsal. i was like, what the hell?? my food how? in the end didn't get to finish my food. then mr tan was so sweet, he went to buy cookies(my fav!) and a cup of smoothie for me. i was so touched! everyone else were so caring too! *sigh*
thank goodness my shoes are comfortable, or else i'd be limping around with blisters all over. and everyday wear blazer, hot like siao ah! lucky i've been stationed in the LT since the first day, no need to stay outside for reception like the others. am i lucky or what? =p
and whatever presentations there were, i was just sitting there, stoning more than half the time. or should i say all the time? hehe. so the only thing i will learn from this seminar will be how to walk in heels. ha!
